Tutoring and Teaching

Annemarie has several degrees in Dance and Acting which makes her a fully qualified academic teacher.

She taught at the NKT (Dutch Children's Theatre), the Highschools Gerrit van der Veen and Zuiderlicht, the Oscar Carré Arts Magnet Elementary School and the following Academies: Academy of Dance, Lucia Marthas (DALM), Academy of Dance, Noord-Nederland (DNN); Furthermore she tutored children, amateurs and adults, preparing and assisting them with their professional careers. Academy of Dance Noord-Nederland=Hanze College Groningen.

Annemarie councels teachers, professionals and students with their internship, teaches Pedagogy, Methodology and Didactics and develops educational programs for various Dance Academies.

She worked also at Highschool Belcampo in Groningen as a talent scout and dance trainer (2004-2006).

Annemarie was there when the auditions took place at the Dance Academy (between 1995 and 2006) to help decide whether or not someone was talented enough to be accepted as a student at the Dance Academy.
